What gives me comfort is that less penalties are given in semis and even fewer in grant finals. If the refs put their whistles away, and let the games flow, the Roosters - used to getting flogged each week by the refs - will be even better.

But worst case is we get caned in the penalty count like we do every week. Our boys have learnt to still win against the penalty count. If they even out its a bonus.

I take no comfort in that ...in the 2010 GF we received a penalty early on, then didn't get another till a few minutes before fulltime .....something like 70mins without a penalty, whilst our cleanskin opponents picked up 5 or 6 in that time.
