Getting to a Grand final is the greatest achievement in a year of footy

I would be happy & extremely proud for the team to make it & am at peace no matter the result thereafter

No, we haven't even peaked yet. Although players have been out we've kept on winning and are now outright first with only a few games until the finals.

We started off slowly and are now starting to string together some momentum if anything.

        Look at is this way:

Manly just lost Watmough, Storm lost Widdop, Souths lost Inglis/Sutton.

We lost Kennedy, Cordner, Mini, SBW and LOD and yet we're the ones who are performing consistently. The fact we BEAT the Raiders was a massive feat. Melbourne smashed them, but our PD speaks for itself...

If we can win against a historically dangeous, giant killing, top-8 team that's got rebounding after an embarrasing loss with an ad-hoc backline and multiple star/rep players out... all replaced with people who are used to playing for the Jets, what does that say?

Next week against the tigers we'll see whether we've peaked too soon. I wouldn't be surprised if we shut them out...

We have not peaked yet. There certainly was no peaking in our performance against the raiders!
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

          Here's looking at you, kid.

See, this is the sort of attitude I admire and respect. I'm still proud of the 2010 team and what they achieved after the embarrassment of 2009. It wasn't just the spoon that year as someone has to get it. It was the heinous indiscretions and headlines which went along with it. To move on from that in the space of a year took courage, guts and professionalism from those players who didn't let the club down that year.

This coming from someone who just blames referees and conspiracies for any failure. There is nothing more negative and/or doom and gloom than thinking referees or officials control our destination. Just sit back and enjoy the season whatever happens from officialdom...We are having a top year.

Imagine if our players believed your conspiracy shit, we would be beaten even before taking the field in any big match.

Trewhella should be in a home.

                          souffs still favourites Banzai?

WTF! The season doesn't end by getting into a FG. Silver is not the new gold. Olympians don't aim for silver. Do you think Minichiello, Pearce etc will be satisfied, happy or extremely proud coming second again?

I still don't think we have played our best footy this year. To be honest I don't even think form is the most important thing.

My worry with any year heading into the finals is how the boys are physically. Injuries, bumps and bruises are the legs still fresh. To me those are the important things.

They haven't proven anything other than that they're clearly a rung below us and Souffs.

I'm not worried about them ... it's the Storm and Rabbits who have now overtaken us with Cords out.
Agree with everything except the statement about souffs. How in God's name have they overtaken us? We have won 7 in a row and they've lost 3 of their last 4, tbh I think souffs are making up the numbers.
