Allowing for the lopsided penalty count and being down on troops, I always thought that they had Canberra's measure. If they were guilty of anything it looked like they just wanted to finish the game and get back in the dressing room. With SBW and LOD back next week we should wipe the floor with the Tigers next week. Too right, cant be at your best every week. We were down on troops, played well below our best & got smashed in the penalties as usual, yet despite this we never really looked like we would lose, even if it was a bit close at the end.

Good call, couldn't agree more. We'll benefit more from this game than the doomsayers can see. My only hope is that Cordner gets to play again this year, he deserves it.

Even if not season-ending, it will be 6 weeks minimum.

We've had a good run with injuries, this year; but unfortunately we're getting them at the wrong end of the season. This, coupled with the referee/penalty situation leaves me feeling like it can't be done. To win premierships you need just about everything to go right. Sadly, I see yet another Manly-Melbourne grand final. Ho hum.

Not sure which game you were watching last night, Raiders had us on the ropes, thank our lucky stars for the knock on dying stages.
