The "6 Roosters players going to be arrested this week" rumor was doing the rounds at the grand final on Sunday.

The source this time came from the St. Merge club.

If a player/s are banned/suspended, what becomes of their earn for that year? Would the NRL "credit" our salary cap in order for us to go out & recruit?
If so, it would turn out to be a good way of cleansing and possibly snapping up some of those Eels players being squeezed out i.e Burt, Kingston. Maybe Lote as well.

But do we want to keep going in this trend of signing players toward the end of their careers. Sure Burt would be a good signing, but would it be a signing where he is playing his footy in his prime part of his career?

I would much rather sign someone and blood them into the team, or sign them when they are in their prime.

Earl and Waqa are a waste of oxygen, as is Tugmalaka. SKD Id keep only becauase with good coaching he can become a decent Winger. And Im willing to give him a good chance to prove that under Smith. Hauraki has potential also.

How can you say SKD with good coaching he can become a decent winger (I agree) yet say Earl and Waqa are a waste of oxygen, when they have received the same retarded coaching SKD has received.

Earl is a scatter brain. His actions off the field are evidence to this. Pearce will do well to stay away from idiots like Earl and Foran. Pearce has used his 9 lives upto now. he's on his own from next year.

Mate I'm with you on this feeling with the WHOLE team bouncing back under Smith.

I guess which is why I'm willing to give Earl, Waqa a chance under Smith. Huaraki proved he has potential already.

SKD has been shite for more than one season - he is lucky that he had farking great service from Anasta who favours that side of the field.

The schoolboy errors he was making in his debut season, are still with him now. You're willing to give him so much time to develop into an average footballer yet write kids off after 2-3 games. That's not quite right.
