We played Cronulla in the last round the year we won the comp and played them again the following week in a semi. We can beat Souffs and any team against all odds in the semis as we have done it consistently thru the season when clearly the powers that be are against us. Should we get robbed like 2010 there should be a revolution - the weak Brian Smith in 2010 should have spoken up and copped a fine but didnt - he lost my support from then on.

I think we played Norths 2 weeks in a row quite a few years back.
            We smashed them twice.

I remember playing norths in about 97 when lam kicked a field goal to send the game into extra time, we did then score a couple times in extra time to win 27-15 ish??

just on the old extra time in finals, these days is extra time played first or does it go straight into golden point. I cant even remember if the tigers semi was all golden point or if et was extra time.

Goes straight to golden point now. Skids intercept sealed the deal on that magical night

For finals footy,I dont understand the logic of taking away extra time, to change it for a lucky pot shot in the 1st minute of golden point. At least in extra time BOTH teams got to use the ball, these days, one team may not even touch the ball.

My sons U 10s just played a side in the final of a Knockout, which they won on Sunday, then next week it's the final comp game against the same side, then round one of the semis yep it's the same game again.

                          3 weeks running. Bizarro.

                          You know it makes sense.
