not too worried. the raiders have a terrible record away from home, and Robbo will have the second half of our round 5 loss in everyone's minds during the week.
although every game is a week to week proposition, the only games I can see us being troubled in are the sharks in round 24 and souffs in round 26.

Well it's proven that teams who get absolutely demolished one week, usually vastly improve the next week. Im sure the boys will be wary of this... i hope

FWIW Mini will be playing... so no worries there.

Yes it's a danger game (Raiders always are) but what can we do about it?

If anything Souffs will be on watch after being completely shut out by the cowboys until the last 5 minutes (while the Storm have found form at a traditionally difficult venue.)

We're in form and should win if we go in expecting well prepared, expecting a tight match. If not... expect us to get smashed (which is a possibility... sure, that's part of the fun. Until the ref calls full-time I never assume we'll win, let alone a week before the game.)

It's my birthday this weekend so I'll be travelling up from Canberra and staying with mates in Paddo for the game. Hopefully the boys don't disappoint! Birthday wish is to meet the boys in the sheds, if any of you read the forum then feel free to message me *cheeky unrealistic smile.*

Parra must be the exception to that rule then.

Every Farken week someone gets on here and says this is a danger game for us. Sooner or later someone will get it right then jump on here and scream out 'I told you so, I was right'

We don't have to lose for the game to be challenging.

Score aside, Panthers, Knights, Sharks...etc were all danger games and our boys had to work farking hard for all of those wins! All teams were capable of beating us and exposed weaknesses in our game. To suggest they weren't difficult, dangerous games is incorrect IMO.

By that reckoning every team in the comp has 24 "danger" games a year.

I see your poibt but not really...

We are special because we're an untested team that's now #1 on the ladder.

Storm, Manly and Souffs for example have a history of beating most teams over the past few seasons and have stable platforms to build off.

Parra and co get smashed every week so can't really call games dangerous. Parra's only danger games are when there's so many injuries/Origin players out that they're scared they might win.

Roosters are used to losing and have been upset by a number of lesser teams this season. For example the Raiders schooled us during a low period where Dugan/Ferguson ran amok, whereas the Storm put more than 60 points on them tonight because they are cr*p.

That said you are right... I possibly don't take games for granted. To me that's how exciting the NRL is this season. Barring Parra, I think any team can win any game. I was realistically concerned that Penrith would come away with a win given their form and our history out in the Riff.

Every team that isn't downright hopeless, yes

Raiders made finchy look good so not sure we have much to worry about...

I know this is a different team to recent seasons but nonetheless I have seen too many games the Roosters should win against teams that are worse than the Raiders to be over confident.

Calmness Dimbo, you young whippersnapper. Patience is a virtue, we have shown no signs to slowing down recently. Give them a chance, we're not the same team we have been over the last 7-8 years. We're running hot, our teams of the past were hot and cold. Be confident youngster.

Every game is a danger game apparently.

Agree with the danger game theory....

The danger being that the scoreboard doesn't go to 3 figures.

Another real danger is that I might fall asleep on the train after celebrating our win with a schooner-a-thon.

Get real folks, this mob have one of the worst away records in the league, and they're hardly on a roll at home either are they......just get yourself there and enjoy some attacking footy.

                                Trust in Robbo.
