Don't give a crap about the MP to be honest. I think it would be better for us to lose a game, as I can't see a team being able to win 14 in a row. I think if we do lose one, it will be against the Raiders, I think we'll have the Rabbits measure during Round 26.

Being 0-2 to souffs going into the finals, I don't think so.

        The Minor Premiership
It is in their reach they just have to concentrate.

I personally think that the minor premiers as it stands should be changed & that the team who finishes top of the table should be crowned the Premiers & be given the main prize with a super 8 series to be run like the semi final series only for a cash prize & not a premiership trophy.

Can only be bad? Any player can get injured at any time. If the minor premiership is there to be won, then you go and win it. I guarantee the coach and players would think your post is rubbish.
Its called trying to gain a psychologiical advantage.

Mr Corey nice to see you have managed to lift your head out of the sand Even if it is only to have little dig back and not answer questions posed to you over the last two weeks

The it can only be bad comment was said in response to someone saying I can see nothing bad in winning the minor premiership So yes the pnly bad thing I can see in it Is if we win that match take out the minor premiership but sustain injuries and suspensions out of the match. Honestly would you rather win the minor premiership and say have a leading player injured and suspended from the match missing the finals Yes players can be injured or suspended at any time But come rnd 26 one week before the finals is not the time you want something like this happening

Come RND 26 spots 1 and 2 can already be sewn up. In case you have not noticed there is now a 5 point gap between 2nd and 3rd We may not even be able to win the minor premiership but have 2nd sewn up or better still we may have the minor premiership sewn up with Souths having 2nd sewn up The latter is unlikely but still possible. That scenario is where you give serious consideration to resting players for what could be a nothing match in the scheme of winning the GRand Final

Perhaps you have not heard of winning the war and not just one battle

I'm not too fussed about it because I think we're pretty much a lock for the top two, and the benefits of first and second in terms of the finals series are the same.

But shit it would be funny if we beat them on their patch in round 26 to win it, preferably on for and against by a couple of points etc.

Moot point. Expecation on both the Roosters and Souths is already huge, regardless of who wins the MP

As it stands, the biggest real advantages of the minor premiership would be:

                    1. Not having to play Melbourne in week 1

                    2. Daylight

                    3. Psychological gain in knowing we can beat Souffs (presuming we get the MP by beating them come round 26)

Melbourne are no shoe ins for 3rd spot In case you have not noticced should Manly win tonight then they will go to 3rd on for and against

There's no reason why we can't win the next 6-10 matches in a row but I've had my heart broken before.
                        Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

Not that I give that much of a fcuk about it, but conceivably both teams could win all remaining matches.

So we'd have to beat them in the last round by more than the points differential, which currently has Souths in front by +2.

It would make for a lot of publicity.
