Do I write those trial reports for nothing mate haha

He was our best prop alongside Moa in the Manly trial. He has always looked to me like a bloke that works his arse off. You can tell how fit he is when you watch him off the ball. Every time his fellow front rower or lock takes a hit up he runs flat out to support them, then he's back ready to take the next hit up. They'll start popping short balls to him more soon i hope as Moa did early in the second half when Liu made half a break and pushed an offload to Maloney. His supporting running, his left arm offload, and his tackling efficiency (best at the club) are the best parts of his game and would be the envy of plenty of top line props in the game.

        Good post, Yak.

Unfortunately the mainstream fan can't the see the workhorses that we have (and need).

This squad is shaping up to be another Golden Era, imo.

Our 2015 team maybe, even without SBW it still looks amazing:
          1. RTS
          2. Tupou
          3. Jennings
          4. SKD/Moga/Macdonald
          5. Moga/Macdonald/Wells
          6. Maloney
          7. Pearce
          8. JWH
          9. Friend
          10. Evans
          11. Cordner
          12. Maubs
          13. Langi
          14. Morts
          15. Napa
          16. Moa
          17. Liu/FPN

What about his deft footwork at the line. He's always beating his opposite. When Isaac came across in 2011 his attack was mainly barge up the middle. To his credit, in 2012 he put his head down worked hard on his game culminating in JT playing him lock forward. The likeable thing about Issac is that he's decent & humble, doesn't say much but earns the respect of his Chooks/Jets teamates and staff through his work ethic. He's not on much quid but hopefully he will earn an upgraded deal. He sure deserves it!

Yeah i easily could have added footwork at the line and foot speed before the line but i didn't want to come off like i was hyping too much, lots of people don't seem to like that haha

On his speed before the line, i suggest people take note of how many metres he gains before he hits the line. Sometimes he'll make 15 metres with a simple run at the A and B defenders cos he'll make 8 before he even meets the line and most of the time it's not even off a quick play the ball when they're on the back foot, his foot speed is just that good. He's really one of those players whose hard work often directly lays the platform for a try or linebreak but unfortunately those players really get the credit they deserve. If he can work on his short passing at the line and his second man passes out the back for set plays he will be an exceptional lock for us off the bench in the years to come. Just wait til he starts letting some offloads go. The kid has the goods! Another prop the Tigers got it wrong with.

Issac is going great guns and I'm looking forward to seeing him go around again on Friday.
As for Aiden, after a slow start to the year he has improved with each game and I'm sure he'll be named in the side with SBW out.
