No I don't think you got that wrong that is correct. The coaching staff are obviously aware of the toll the rep period has taken on the players. Not sure about resting them.

I agree, he is not right at all mentally. Something is going on outside football, there is a lot of upset and frustration being let out on the field. Fingers crossed he pulls it together soon, otherwise Mortein will be onto the No.6 before he knows it...
