  • Warning: Rooster for a Day - charity nest

In regards to the Rooster For a Day advertised on the website.....

I did this a few years ago when we beat he dogs on a Friday night when O' Meally was captain and Sa starred at 6.
Firstly they said hey would come and collect me from my seat just before the warm up so I could go and watch but they forget to collect me. Also, by the time I got into the dressing room after the game I had missed the team song and the speeches. I was told by the club that they would make it up to me and invite me back another time. They said they would call me to organise this but they never did.

Just a warning for anyone thinking of getting involved with this.

I'd be surprised if this would be the case these days - the club seems to be running very well at the moment. Last time they did similar earlier this year, there were a few photos being posted of the winners on the Roosters various social media accounts. I wouldn't be too worried about not being looked after.

That game was in 2008 when Samsung were our sponsors, not Steggles. What does this have to do with the charity nest?

The lady who 'coordinated' this back then, is still at the club. I see her at all home games.

Last time the club dudded me I got an telephone apology from marketing, after I posted my complaint on here.
Hopefully you get the same 13 and they make it up to you.
