  • Its time to settle down....

I have been guilty as well.

The excitement of watching our team get better, become unstopable is too much.

But we need to settle down....

To quote Mullins after making the GF in 2002 - "We aint won nuffin yet".

    ONE AT A TIME!!!!

Next stop - NAUGHTSVILLE. Smash Flower Power Gower and his banjo strumming brethren first.

    One at a time....

    Go Easts.
Alcohol never solved any life problems.....then again neither did milk.

Some sense Honestly I think some on here have pre ejaculated after Souths losing last night

Newcastle will not be easy with the imminent 12-3 penalty count against us
I respect all our moderators here. Past present and even future. Always have done and always will do a wonderful job.

There's definitely a case for Souths being better off having had that loss.

We need to be careful. Eyes on Newcastle, nothing else.

We have also slipped against opposition we should not have lost to. I do believe that our defense is world class and separates us from the rest of the field.

                Good call melon head.

I learnt my lesson in getting ahead of myself after I was cocky as farrk in the week leading up to the 03 grand final.

                Never again.

                  40- nil
                  without Sonny Bill

Time to go in for the kill.

Nah I'm over one week at a time, anything less than a top 2 finish on the ladder from here is a fail Bruce.

That's the thing though elo, if you don't take it one week at a time then it opens up the possibility of missing a top 2 finish. Leave it for $ouff$ to get ahead of themselves and shoot themselves in the foot. You are 100% spot on when you say anything less than a top 2 finish is a failure from the position we are in. The prospect of finishing 3rd and having to play the storm in Melbourne is not an enviable one.

Quite a few on here don't see the point in winning the minor premiership. I can most definitely see the up side, in that I would much rather play womanly in week 1 of the finals than the storm.
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

                        Here's looking at you, kid.

Cronulla were missing some quality players, you have to remember that.

I'm pretty sure the players are taking it one week at a time and they respect the opposition no matter who they are playing and refs are human and make mistakes even though they seem to make them 2:1 against us most games and they are not thinking about the minor premiership or semis. They probably don't even know who they are playing after Newcastle.
