With SBW out, this is Pearce's opportunity to make amends and become the 'go to guy' that many on here, and at the club believe him to be. He has been that player, but I'm imagining he probably feels like that was years away now after the whole origin tragedy.

Trying to stop that achievement will be a venomous Sharks forward pack who will no doubt be trying to unsettle him, and a player who may feel lost his shot at origin because of Pearce.

Despite having a week which saw him knock Phillip Duke, and Hodgson off the 'you cost your state an origin series' podium, I believe Mitch can turn it around and put the wheels in motion for a good win against the Sharks.

Fellow brothers and sisters, I ask you all to sing and chant as one to help give Mitch the extra incentive to turn it all around. I know I will be. Go you good things!

He was the go to guy against the Dragons and was exceptional.
The Sharks pack only really has Fifita, but we have JWH. Tagatese is big, but rubbish and we have LOD. Gibbs is handy, but not too dangerous and we have FPN. Graham and Lewis are their danger men in the back row, but aren't playing and we have Cordner and Guerra. They have Carney, but we have Maloney. They have Robson, but Pearce covers him with change to spare. I could keep on going, but I can't bothered.
I really think the team is going to lift in support of Pearce and this little hoodoo that we have with the Sharks will be blown away like the others this year.
Sing loud my good man, wish I was in Sydney for the game.
