Just a thought. What if the Chookpen started a chant for Mitchell? I think that the Easts chant would be suitable. Stomp stomp stomp Pearce! And so on....... Could really help lift the kids spirit!

The more people try and lift Mitchy, the more it will make him think about his catastrophic origin career. It's best we all try and forget about it, and hope to god that Mitchy can live with knowing he let down his state and use it as a positive to take us forward, as we'll need him on board and focused.

It's hard to believe that all this talk about 'winning together - losing together' isn't etched down to club football as well, and with that being said, perhaps some guys either now, or further down the track might feel that Mitchy's ability and results aren't quite up to the standards that this club now has. I wouldn't be surprised if theres already whispers floating about during training. Hopefully it doesn't disgruntle the team.
