  • Seriously who gives a shit

I do not give 2 hoots how our guys perform in Origin, never have, Easts is the team i support.

Everybody knows i am The Teflon Kid's harshest critic and yes he may of played poorly, but apart from dickhead selectors who seriously thought anything would change???

Main thing for mine is none of the players were injured and they are fit and ready to go for the Peptides game this weekend.

WE have something the blues do not

    SBW

    NSW win with SBW

    Just like we will

He is our goto man not Teflon

Yes, yes, yes. I agree completely, pearce did play poorly, but he should focus on the mighty chooks now. Sbw will be our creative-roaming playmaker while pearce will be our defensive halfback. Robbo needs to lift the boys up and fire them up for the rest of the season. Were serious contenders, rather than the blues being pretenders imo.

        I give a $hit that we lost...

Origin's beyond a joke now. It's just 1 sided rubbish and I can't be farked with it.

Scrap Origin... you won Maroons, well done. Who cares? It was expected and boring. Cheer all you like... I'm sick of it and all the w@nkas from NSW who cheer for QLD, caliming they have a true connection with it.

W@nkaz the lot of ya QLD'ers!!! Fark Origin!!!!

Scrap it or make it just 1 game a year I reckon. It has lost any sense of legitimacy because QLD always wins no matter how s*it they play and all their boys make up the Kangaroos squad because this is the only rep game to judge on. Farking joke!!!!

And yes, I have anger management problems tonight.

I would rather see Origin played at the end of the season, so the clubs don't have injuries to worry about and we can have a good dry ground to play on. Also we have no disruption to club footy.
As a Blues supporter living in Qld, I am used to the dribble that I hear every year. As it was said before NSW are almost playing the Kangaroo team.

I didn't think Pearce or Maloney played poorly (made a couple of mistakes), but feel that Farah over played his hand limiting Mitchell & James in attack...
Jennings was quiet & Boyd had limited time...
As a Qlder, happy that they lost but more so, happy that they weren't injured physically (hopefully not mentally)...
I remember Carney & Junior coming back from origin in 2010 & struggling after dominating games prior to the series...

What a great game, apart from the obvious errors Jnr made, I thought he was a 7 out of 10, unfortunately for him with the errors he was not quite a 6 out of 10, but bring it on again next year. It was great experience for all our Blue Roosters for finals footy, most intense type of football in the world & when we do finally beat those smug cane toads it will be one hell of a night to remember! Hmm Ashes anyone?

Props to you PWN, good post.

Pearce played poorly. There is no denying that.

But the way some posters on here seemed to rejoice in that - as though if NSW were going to lose they wanted Pearce to have a shocker - was just plain weird, if not a bit sick.

I feel for him - for better or worse he puts his heart on the line, and even if his attempts failed, he cares enough to try and step up and win his team the game. Sometimes his effort just farks up the execution.

I hope he and Jimmy bounce back for club footy. They are very good footballers, we are lucky to have them at this club, and they are deserving of our support.

                  Go Easts.

                    one question.
when the morons grounded the ball in goal and nsw scores(not scores). why did they miss the knock on and if the middle finger brushing across the top of the ball was awarded a grounding , would the refs also allow that middle finger grounding as a try,

I am puzzled with it and I doubt if anyone could call it a try. different rules for origin..

I am worried that Mitchell Pearce and James Maloney will return from State of Origin mentally flat and drained and will now see a form slump as it happened in season 2008 with our halves returning from the deflating series and our season fizzled out after dominating the first half of the season.

                        Me too mate.

Lets hope the coach has prepared for this inevitable eventuality as he's prepared well for most obstacles this season.

This is where having Mortein in the squad could prove a real bonus for us.

                          There was also an obstruction...

IMO is was called "no try" because the ref said "I don't think it was a try" when referring it to the video ref.

We then went on to see a potential NSW try scorer held back, a knock-on and an obvious try.

Another Origin that got away. Just s*x because s*it like this keeps Origin going and gives it fans/legitimacy.

I wish we lost all 3 by a mile, there were no dramas, no sell-outs (except in QLD) and it prompted a review of whether or not Origin is worthwhile.

It's just a big QLD show and really always has been. ~20 years, QLD has won 8 in a row (and had won the majority before that.)

The only glimmer of hope was us winning 3 straight and QLD crushed any hope of fair competition in the future by rigging it so that all the NSW boys went to the Storm and played for QLD feeder clubs on the way.

I'm not watching Origin again fullstop. It has lost any magic that it might have ever had.

I watch SOO and I cheer for the Blues, but I have no real emotional connection to the team. I would gladly trade a NSW series victory for a single win by the Roosters in an NRL game.

No... I think I'd even trade it for NYC game win.
