congrats to the NYC boys, they are currently top of the table, definitely an ordinary standard of football, not one of todays NYC squad is anywhere near first grade standard at this point in time, Nene MacDonald is going to be one of those extremely frustrating players, extremely gifted but has poor concentration, he scored 3 set up another with a beautiful flick pass but earlier in the match dropped a couple of easy kicks.

gee big call on Cornish, people were bagging him for being utter rubbish before the season and even in the first few rounds, myself included. It seemed as though Langi was running the show but from what ive seen and heard he has stepped it up in his absence.
Agree with your other statements. Nene has potential, Goodsell is one of those consistent players that you need to be the full team (eg Bryson Goodwin for souths) and there are a couple of others eg Seijka, Martin that have a future.

How did Brad Deitz play? He has massive wraps on him.

I think Cornish is built like a potential First Grade half back,tall big and mobile he looks the goods..
Seijka and Martin are definite stars also..
Heard plenty of wraps on Deitz but wasnt impressed today,threw a lazy forward pass to stop momentum and didnt do too much to stand out.
I do agree with Fletch in regards to Mcdonald,looks a freaky player but can frustrate you with bonehead plays..
