Well, in a way, he is right.
Sitting second on the ladder after 16 weeks of the competition is a complete mirage. Having scored the 2nd most amount of points and conceding the second least is also misleading.
However to be classified as contenders for the premiership, your team needs to wear cardinal red and myrtle green, and needs to have not won a premiership for 40 odd years.

A player that could not play more than 40mins in a game.
A player that could bully and dominate smaller players
A player that would only hit other players when they were not looking.
A player whose stats were not that good.
A player that would bludge of the back of "real" players only really putting in every now and then

Basically I could not stand him as a player and could not stand when people labelled him on of the greats.

If we are yet to prove our worth to Gordon "Gordy" Tallis and Brett "Noddy" Kimmorley I feel we may be doing something right.

Mental giants of our game they are not...but are excellent at holding a good grudge and letting jealousy guide their paths.

I'm definitely in the minority here, but I don't mind Tallis on TV.

He usually tells it like it is, can be occasionally funny , and doesn't come up with the same banal drivel all the time. The two I can't stand are Mr Wendell and Gasnier.
