      WTF are people watching?
      When did getting smashed a lot result in a bad game? If anything it proves once again how tough he is.

        I'll never question his toughness, to come back from as many back surgeries as he has and still put his body on the line every week speaks volume. I'll never say or hear a bad word about Mini's character but;

        Unfortunately getting dominated in every run also puts us on the back foot, I don't expect him to being scoring from his own half or even busting the line but just pick up a few yards and getting a quick play the ball to set the tone for the set can be so vital to a team.

          Not mine. I said Mini got smashed on every kick return, not that I expect him to be making linebreaks on kick returns.

          Either a huge assumption jump or he wasn't quoting me.

            Because we have been so on the back foot throughout this season because of this

                R6 doesnt see this though He sees Mini get hit hard on kick returns and that is that

                  At times coming out of our own end, yes. RTS & Toops have bailed us out quite a lot this year, their second play carries have been great all year.

                    The kick was actually a nice touch but geez if you think passing a ball 2 metres with no defensive pressure on you is improving on something you must've thought even lower of his ball playing game than me. SKD did exactly the same pass and geez if someone came out and said he'd improved his ball playing on the back of that evidence this place would erupt.

                      Would you like to elaborate on anything you thought was a positive contribution from Mini last night Or was you perceiving him not to be getting us on the front foot from kick returns the only thing you saw and took note of last night

                        That doesn't take out the point R6 is making. Minichiello needs to step aside for RTS, his kick returns are awful, and when it comes to the finals, it could hurt us badly, at times this season it already has.

                          Do tell us Julz What were your thoughts on your mate Pearces final kick of the night Straight into a Manly player Maybe we should replace him too Lets see Mortimer at 7 SBW 6 for next week and moving forward upon the return of Maloney Him at 7 with SBW 6 Because the way I see it Is Pearces lack of composure at crucial times like late in last nights games Is more likely or at the very least Just as likely to hurt us badly comes finals time It could have last night But fortunaTely Guerra got back and got a kick in for us

                            I thought his kick for a repeat set was a nice touch, picked up a kick off his toes in a potentially dangerous situation magnificently and he was safe under the high ball as he usually is.

                            Negatives were that he got smashed on every kick return, got caught out positionally for a 40/20 & was again dragged back from the field of play into the in goal for a repeat set when a surrender tackle would've seen us retain possession.

                            I'd give him a 6/10, I certainly didn't see anything wonderful about his performance.

                              Did Mini have a good game by his standards? Absolutely.

                              A good game from Mini is one where he doesn't have 2-3 blunders which cost us. That isn't being critical it's being realistic.

                              Compare that game and stats to most fullbacks in the comp when they have a good game and it's average.

                                That's basically it these days, Mini not having a bad day is an acceptable performance and that in itself says enough.
