Absolutely gutted for the kid from possible first grade debut to season ending injury. Hope the NRL are happy. Granted it was bad luck but you cant help but think what might have been. Fingers crossed for him and the rest of the injured. Hope they all come back bigger stronger and faster!!!

Tasi is fine now. Playing this week for Jets. I know it's a little pedantic given how similar the prop/lock roles are these days but FPN is playing more of the lock role with Cordner and is not/will be part of the four man prop rotation, that this week will be Moa/JWH/LOD/Lui. However, in saying that I reckon Cordner and FPN may be in the middle together at some time of the match.

I expect Liu will drop off the bench with FPN playing in the front row and Guerra rotating with Cordner @ lock which is what we've been doing for most of the season.

See this is the tricky thing for Robbo.

IMO SBW must play lock in attack so I don't know how he is going to juggle it.

                Here's a thought for ya;

                In Attack

                1. Maloney
                4. RTS
                5. Mini
                6. SBW
                7. Pearce

                In Defence

                1. Mini
                4. SBW
                5. RTS
                6. Maloney
                7. Pearce

Puts SBW in a roving role, limits SBWs defensive duties keeping him fresh in attack, removes Mini from our backline movements but we still get his experience in defence, gets Sheck more quality ball and quantity & shores up our defence on the right fringe.

Really doesn't affect Jimmy's role in the team either, he'd still continue doing what he's doing.

Guerra missed six tackles last weekend, and whilst he has been the second lock at some stages this year, I believe he'll be 18th man this week and Liu will be on the bench. Guerra has missed a tackle for every 23 minutes he's been on the field this season, but last week was by far his worst. With Frank Paul now firing I'm pretty sure Guerra will miss out.

I think I'm correct in saying Guerra hasn't missed a game yet this season. It'd surprise me if he did drop off the bench especially considering the fact that he can play on the edges which allows SBW to roam. Neither FPN or Liu offer this and Robbo has been pretty loyal to his regulars so far.

In saying that I've long been critical of his defence, this isn't just a part of his game that's deteriorated because he's moved into the middle. It wouldn't be something I was against... it certainly puts question marks over his future here beyond this year

He missed Rounds 2 & 3 with an injury picked up in Round 1, and played Rounds 4 & 5 for Newtown and was recalled in Round 6 and has kept his place since, firstly as a result of FPN's injury, and then once FPN returned due to the unavailability of a few middle forwards.
