Any word on Kennedy? Time frame wise? I know it's a hyper extension but was there any structural damage?

My question about the Kennedy injury is...how did he go from being in the worst pain I think I've seen a footballer in ( except when Whitey Jenkins broke his leg on a frosty Dunedoo morn 35 years ago)...to bravely walking off the field.

He is either very wimpish or very tough...not sure.

I heard he was auditioning for a spot to Brazil next year. Socceroos are an ageing squad,

It can be extremely painful - the pain varies from PCL injury to injury, whether ligaments were torns, whether dislocation occurs - there is so much that can happen to the knee in that scenario and the pain can be extreme.

I believe that Kennedy is tough, I believe he was in that much pain. Don't forget the body produces pain when part of itself is being damaged and the pain is not always proportional to the damage done. He could have been in extreme pain, much like when he destroyed his ankle, it could have been his nervous system's knee-jerk reaction to induce a higher level of pain, much like what he previously experienced, when the damage was not as bad.

Or after the injury adrenaline could have pulsed and the pain subsided as the reaction.

              Auditioning for socceroos sounds better

im not a real mk fan, but gee for him to be called a pussy and whimpish is pretty ordinary form.

be interesting from a few of the big talkers here to stand in the way of a kasiano pritchard or burgess at full flight.

Kennedy is such a pussy, that when he realised we were down to 12 men for the last couple of plays of the game, he waited behind the goal line with the trainers in case he needed to run back on to try and prevent a match winning try.

                      Bullshit.

Firstly, im sure it hurt A LOT.

But aside from the physical pain, people are underestimating the psychological trauma involved when someone has come back from a potentially career threatening injury. Chances are he was just fearing the worst and was screaming out through fear that it could have been a career ending injury.

I read 10-12 weeks operation tomorrow.

IMO a lot of his initial reaction would have been anger, he'd have known it was bad, your leg ain't ment to bend that way. He'd have had the season running thru his mind. Then as you said mate, when he realised he could get up he looked to me like he wanted to go back on behind the posts.

To call him a wimp or a pussy is out there. What these blokes put their bodies thru to entertain us is more than most of us would ever imagine.

To come from our own fans though.

                          That will do me.

FMD, bad news for Marty and bad news for the club. With Evans and now Marty confirmed as long term injuries, our prop depth is being tested, another injury up front and we are pushing shit uphill, not a good sign.

Are you for real? If he was a 'pussy' as you put it, would he even be playing?

Coming from the quintessential keyboard hero.
The guy displays more fabric in one match than what you would have in your entire life.
All the best MK, hope you're back out there for us in minimal time.
