Maybe if they coached him how to carry the ball in different situations he wouldn't lose it as much.

Even the tv commentators said Pearce left him high and dry in defence by standing too close to SBW.

Yes.

He's big enough for a centre and can run well.
Trouble is, they usually pass him the ball with no room to move, and after the defence is set.
Time after time we have 2 and 3 man overlaps out wide and keep trying to barge thru the forwards and usually then end up dropping the ball or doing some useless kick.
Surely the coach can modify his ball carrying style.

Lol at the first sentence. They passed him the ball on Saturday and he had it stripped from his grasp in the process of scoring what could have been the match winning try.
As for the second, Freddy spent ages getting him to carry the ball everywhere he went to improve his handling skills and that was what...five years ago now? And he still can't hold the ball.

Thanks for your thoughts MR. The attack taught me stuff I never knew about myself...like possessing a good set of lungs..ask anyone in Bay 9 last Sunday night.. I do hope your son enjoys his time at camp..Victoria in the dead of winter will be slightly chilly..I remember when my nieces and nephews were growing up and going to camps..Why they make them go when it's so cold I'll never know..Good luck with the teenage years..we've seen it all in our family...the usual broken hearts, doors slamming..leaving home and then moving back again..wanting to follow the Rorting Storm..where I went wrong with that kid I'll never know..I didn't do enough babysitting with him when he was younger...

Yes they've picked the coldest time of the year to send the kids on camp. It means I have to pack heaps of warm clothes which means more luggage for him to manage. And lol at the Storm bit. I've been training my kids to hate Souffs, Bullcheats and Melbooring since they could follow the game! My son is well trained. My daughter hates footy.

It's a long time since Freddy was coach...and SKD has done well in that time...he's not the only one who drops the ball.
Ne needs to stop waving the ball around in the air in one hand.

Jennings dropped it twice against Parra while trying to jump to his feet too quickly to play the ball.
Jennings dropped that bomb kick that cost us the Storm game or whichever one it was.
Pearce throws horror passes that go to ground, 'every' game.
The forwards drop the ball all the time.
