That shows the courage and the player he is. The chase on manu was super imo. Never gave up and actually showed some good speed to move mani away from the posts. I watched over the game bitterly and I saw the stuff up on the last that set up the try. Jimmy raised his hand calling for the ball and mitch either lacked trust in him or thought the warriors wouldn't anticipate the blind side move. I actually agree with a few people on here. You can't blame skd for the last try. 95% of players in that situation with nothing going on would grubber kick it. Sbw , pearce & rts all gave up. They backed out of the chase. Fpn& cordner had a good attempt. Your thoughts?

Nah the play was on, watch the replay if Mini catches the original pass we score no doubt in the world.
I don't really blame Skid for that kick but like you pointed out Cordner busted a gut even knowing he probably wouldn't catch him, what was SKD doing? Just having a Sunday stroll in the background, that really irritated me.

Really our playmaker has to wear a lot of the responsibility for that ordinary bit of decision making.

Mini over-ran the ball. That's where the problem started. It was last tackle so SKD really had no choice but to kick it. Just unlucky that Manu stuck his leg out. FPN was the run of the race. Follow up next start.
An earlier SKD kick got us a repeat set although it was all comical.

I guarantee you if any other fullback runs that play he times his run properly, he catches it and Pearce gets applauded for having the balls to run it on the last, if Mini passes to Pearce on the break that he butchered he also scores. He ends up coming out of the game with 1 try assists, 3 linebreak assists & a try.
Not a bad game for a halfback I'd say... funny how the game is sometimes.

That's what Fitzy was geeing me up about, the coaching.
Elliot knows how to play us.
Frustrate us and inevitably one of those three will crack in some aspect.
Shit happens. Sometimes footy comes down to a few crucial decisions. In comparison to the better sides some of our decisions at times lack thought.
I know in this case it's hind site but maybe going the other side of the field at that time, not relying on poor decision makers, would've been a better choice IMO.
The whole play does sorta sum those blokes up unfortunately.
