  • Why was SBW taken off?

He and Moa revived a comeback and then 10 minutes into the second half they were both off, it killed our momentum. Moa just came back from injury and lacking match fitness but wtf did SBW come off for? He didn't look tired, and from what I saw he didn't sit down the whole time he was off.

sbw might well be fighting a n injury that were not aware of? his knee has given him hell all seaswon? was great to see thge glimpses of sam that weve missed so much, puts the long suspension of jwh into perspective and he didnt throw a punch!

Bingo, SBW off for an effortless, lathargic Guerra, we didnt look like scoring with SBW off

Probably because Robbo expects SBW to play 80 and carry the team in a couple of days time against the Dogs.

Cordner put guerra through a whole which should have been SBW and a certain try

Now u r better coaches than Robbo, who has been fantastic for our team. He had his reasons which no one on here would know about. Warriors got bloody lucky. 2 runaway trys from attacking kicks and skd and his loose carry.

But John the question remains why oh why is he still picking SKD.

Not claiming to be a better coach than him - all I am asking if anyone knew anything. He didn't look tired or injured, he didn't stop pacing up and down the touchline, what possible reason could there be?

                      The Warriors defended very well.

We only looked dangerous when Moa, FPN and SBW were throwing short balls in the middle.

Otherwise we couldn't crack them, or finish.

We're going to lose a bunch of games in the next month.

The mid-season slump is upon us.

The slump we had to have. This team is still not mentally tough enough - maybe not this year- probably next. We haven't been mentally tough since 2010. Yes we can do it for 80 mins - but week in, week out - 30 odd weeks in a row???

Guerra did my head in last night. Three times through the game, SBW made a half break and Guerra was out of position outside him. Either overrunning a potential pass or running through and getting in SBW's way. On one occassion, SBW pretty much did a voluntary tackle to avoid getting pinged for obstruction.

Guerra's been out of sorts all year. At full strength, I wouldn't have him in the team.
