    Chook.
Agree with this. The team tried to score a try every time they made a half break, they lacked composure. Basically they played dumb.

They both over used the kick to Tupou, they have done for a while now.

I would much rather they put the ball through the hands and utilse Jennings SBW and Sheck more, Sheck the poor bastard got a cold, whilst constantly bombing to Tupou nullified any strike Jennings had.

        Pearce really is Finch v2.

I didn't like him when he came into grade. I tried to like him many times over the years, but its just been proven over and over and over again that he doesn't have it. When your halfback falls to pieces the moment his 5/8 isn't putting on a dominant display, you know he is cactus.

Honestly if after 6 years in first grade and 3 years in origin he is still having brain explosions under pressure then its never going to change.

If he wins a premiership in his career it will be a miracle

If we don't win a comp this year with Pearce at half we never will.

We may eventually win a premiership with Pearce at half... but not because of him, but because the players around him were maybe able to one day nullify his lack of composure and panic decision making.

He has never been one to truly dominate close games

I think we all have to come to realise that Pearce may not ever become one of the top echelon of halfbacks in the game. Several coaches have come and gone and there has been no real lift in the quality of his footy. Young halfbacks have come into first grade after him (DCE and Adam Reynolds) and are showing more signs of being dominant, take the game by the scruff of the neck halfbacks than he ever has. I thought that maybe having a quality 5/8 taking some of the pressure off him (compared to Banasta) would lift his game to new heights, sadly not though.

Abandon all hope, ye who support the chooks.
