Seriously you really are defending the indefensible, i rarely if ever come on here & bag individual players & have always defended SKD but tonight was completely unacceptable from a 1st grade footballer. He probably cost us the game & his confidence is clearly shot.

In say that he'll probably be selected next week, almost by default. I'm hoping he can turn it around but i have my doubts.
I'm not so much defending him but just trying to justify what he did and that in both cases there were better options but when you're in the heat of the moment you don't always make the best decisions, you can't help him by continually bagging him, however a drop to Newtown is needed.

To be fair you didn't mention the F bombs which is unacceptable behavior, but he does the deserve criticism as his gameplay is just not up to acceptable standard for first grade.

Problem is he seems to make the wrong decision most of the time.

Alright, well there was just a lot of uncivilized comments, remarks and F bombs about SKD which I find far beyond what the Roosters are fans are truly about.

Nonetheless, he is playing atrocious football, lacks confidence and needs some time away from the big leagues.

Perhaps, but even when he does score or make a good tackle people are still negative about it, no matter what he does people will complain about it.

Yeah, well i'm not one of those people.

I hope he goes out and proves everyone wrong next week, but i have my doubts.

Well I agree with the kick in some ways but it did work against Manly. I blame more the fact that there was no clear direction in that last play. It was a desperate play from lack of imagination from the halves to get to that stage of the game. That's the problem with having players looking after themselves for origin, well in our team. That wouldn't happen at the Storm.

so we make another change ahead of the game v dullbogs. ffs.

skids will play this week and then when we have the full team back then maybe trent will try a few different things.skids dropped the ball and was denied a definite try(dumbassed), and the kick he tried to put thru was a joke. should of been passed to rts. but if pearce had of put in a propper kick or a half decent pass it would of been a different out come

You can understand the frustration with fans.....

The fact is SKD has forgotten how to play as a CENTRE

He's not backing himself close to the line, for example put Will Chambers into his shoes, there's no way Chambers would consider the grubber, he would put his head down, tuck the ball safely under his arms & dive....pretty simple

SKD has over complicated a simple process & has lost his mojo...

Maybe he needs to rediscover this with Newtown

You cannot blame SKD for the last try. Pearce sandbagged him into taking a low percentage play. He did exactly what any other player would do. The ball sat up nicely for Manu.

Also, note that Pearce gives up chasing Manu after 10 metres. I have no doubt that he would of reeled him in, given he is one of our fastest players over 100, while Manu is quite slow for a winger. FFS Cordner and FPN put in the effort.

It's actually funny how the winners on the night compare to the losers.

Jennings scoops up a loose ball and races away- while Johnson reels him in through sheer effort. Manu does the same thing and Jnr lets him run. That's the difference between a winning at all cost mentality and a losing one.

I thought the chase on Manu was bad as well. When I saw it was Manu picking up the ball, I thought we would reel him in for sure. Both Pearce and RTS stopped chasing while FPN and Cordner really showed some guts and put in.

I also would've expected one of our backs from the other side to be watching and reading the play and come across in cover, but there was zip.

Probably had their hands on their heads as to why Pearce turned it back inside. I know that when Pearce put in that shocker on the third, Jennings had his hands raised in the air in disbelief.

How can Pearce amaze Jennings given that he played for so long with Walsh ?? Gives you an indication of the level of that brainsnap.

btw, can't blame RTS as he took off to chase SKD's grubber and had to turn.

                                Pearce was on the inside.
