The Bro Show. That's what theyre calling it. Maybe we can name a cup after it?
We seem to have enough of those already. The Foundation Cup, The ANZAC Cup, The Jack Gibson Cup, all of which we have won so far this year, then there is the Ron Coote Cup, which to retain, we need to beat Souths in round 26. Am I missing any?
Anyway, the game tonight shapes as a defining one for this season. Next week we WILL face our toughest assignment of the year, against the Bulldogs. Then after that we have Manly, then St. George and then the bye. I think we'll be lucky to win 2 of our next 4 games. That includes tonight, which im not overly confident on in the first place.
The warriors have hit form at the same time where we seem to be in a bit of a dip. (who would've thought, winning 6 or our last 7 games would be considered a dip) But our defence needs to aim up tonight. We've had a 9 day rest since the Eels last week, the whole squad is together, and were playing in front of a home crowd.
Expect a big game from RTS, SKD, FPN, SBW, anyone else with double barrelled names and James Maloney.

We lose to the Warriors, and lose to the Dogs...we stay on 20 points.
Manly wins 2 games...and some of the teams now on 16 points win two games, then Manly and they win another match and we lose another one and it's bye bye to us.

We must win today.

Our players must play properly, ...no dumb passes, no dumb play the balls losing possesssion, RTS to stay on his wing, SKD not to rush up out of the defensive line, Pearce to move out wider...or in closer with SBW out wider, SBW to make some runs at the tryline, Pearce to run the ball, few missed tackles, no lazy dropped balls, no forward passes from dummy half or any other time.
Kennedy to be wound up and run at the tryline thru the centres.
Players running at pace when they get the ball, no running around in circles play is acceptable today.

This is not park football or second grade.

Could Moa be a late addition to the team considering he trained with the team this week?

It would be a nice bonus to have him back in the team especially up against a big pack.

I hope he is back JAL. he may not be the biggest forward going around but he runs hard and straight and doesn't let the team down. solid in defence and doesn't give as many penalties away as Kennedy does.

We could struggle without Moa and JWH.

I also think we've been playing pretty poorly since the Dragons game. Good signs that we've still been able to win in spite of that.

Warriors are on a roll too.

We'll win the Warriors have won 3 in a row now and that's about their limit, they'll lose 3 now. We're not so much out of form but not playing too well. I'll say we'll win pretty comfortably I expect all our kiwi's to explode even SKD, I think will Mini will keep his terrific form and with Toups and MJ up against Hurrel and the fish I think they'll have a field day in attack but will have to work to keep them contained in defence. I think our forwards just need to run harder and Maubs to hit some holes, with our halves capitalizing.
