i know mini has his bottom few vertebrae fused and it effects his ability to field grubbers, but ive noticed that he has trouble catching balls behind him on the run and passing on the run and was thinking that the fusion must be effecting his ability to turn while running which causes him to make these errors... thoughts???

yeah but he has put a few balls down this season that have been slightly behind him and i was thinking that it was due to his inability to turn and get them. same with his passing - he has thrown a few shockers and again i think its becuase he cant turn his body to pass while on the move

I actually think his handling of grubber kicks has improved considerably. I also think most players have trouble catching balls behind them when there on the run. Passing game has never been great so i doubt thats related to his back injury.Originally posted by turk-283Kurt 79 - Kags 0..

He's lucky to be walking, let alone playing in a full contact sport where you've got a few guys 100+ kgs hitting you at momentum like that.
He deserves a pat on the back when you take into account the fact that he puts his body on the line for our team. He's not a lazy player like many of whom we have had, he's just not 24 years old anymore. He is a safe option at the back though and gives our side some valuable experience. I've been critical of him in the past but I do still think that he has something to offer our team whether he's playing at fb or wing.
There's always going to be armchair heroes who are ready to attack their own. Reminds me of the aussie cricket fans who sledge Ponting and even Hussey when they were in a dry patch in their careers. Aren't our current crop of batsmen doing so much better without themAt the end of Mini's career I will happily call him a club legend.
