This is the first game i've been happy with this season. He was charged onto the ball and into the line, and he scored. Only downside is i stupid penalty. He's picked up his work rate since JWH and Moa being out!

Kenny Dowel is a major liability. He is without doubt the worst defensive centre in the comp. He retreats every time the opposition attack his side of the field. His handling has improved slightly but if we are going to win the big games at the back end of the season he must be punted pronto.Comment

Long time reader first time poster.... Charged onto the ball??? MK has one of the biggest handbrakes in the comp. Against Parra it would have been a great opportunity to blood Kane Evans. Mainly I joined this forum to vent my frustrations at SKD... week in week out he is a turnstile in defence and constantly makes poor decisions in attack. I can only hope that Moga's knee is in good enough shape to push into the side and send SKD back to Newtown where he belongs.Originally posted by Hot Chooks View PostComment

Where is Oldfield? I say put him in the centres till Moga is fit. Or put Aubusson there and bring another backrower up. Anything is better than watching Kenny Dowell making pathetic attempts at defending or not defending at all. Every NRL coach knows to attack his side and the tries will come. Kennedy is not the best prop in the comp but compared to Kenny Dowell he is an immortal. If Robinson doesn't sack him after last nights performance against Parra then he should sack himself. Watch the replay - he just backpedals in defence. Its SHOCKING!!!!Comment

It was pretty cold at Parra Stadium last night, but my eyes weren't frozen over. Fui made MK's runs look third rate at best. MK looks in good shape but he must have copped a big knock playing Under 8's in QLD. He can pump his legs all he likes but he runs in at 100kph and hits the line at 15kph. I thought Kennedy played pretty well last night. As the scape goat, I realise his job is to have the shit kicked out of him on here after every game, but there should be limits.
He was far from our worst last night, he ran onto the ball well and was still making metres after the initial contact - something he doesn't usually do. Even the penalty he gave away shouldn't have been given - he'd been stood at marker at least a second before the mug in pink blew the whistle.....it was like he recognised it was Kennedy, and then blew a penalty.
As for Kenny Dowall, you can't defend the indefensible. He was terrible. I'm just hoping against hope that now he's crossed the stripe, he'll remember what it feels like.
If not, get shut of him.Comment

Kennedy actually had a pretty good game from the moment I posted this thread lol So he did a great job of making me look like an idiot.
I was just so enraged that we conceded two straight tries on the back of that infamous combo of "MK penalty given away, SKD poo poo read in defense". Seeing it happen twice in 2 minutes was enough to make a statue of the Virgin Mary weep.
SKD however just has to flat out **** off. Bring back Brent Grose or Vince Mellars, I really don't care, just get rid of him.Comment

The way SKD is playing is detrimental to team morale - his partnership with Jennings in the centres on current form is such a mismatch and I can't seem to recal SKD setting up our wingers on a try run. Ok he has a rib injury which causes further liability to his form and the team. I really want the best for SKD whatever that maybe however the team comes first and it being mid season maybe the appropriate time for our coach to give him a stint at the jets so SKD can regroup physically and mentallyOriginally posted by Woodbee View PostComment
