  • How'd our boys pull up?

Does anyone know if our victorious boys have pulled up okay from last night?

Any word on if they'll be running out tomorrow night?

A fortnight without seeing Easts on the park has killed me!

    From website

    http://www.roosters.com.au/news-disp...-victory/76474

All three players have checked in at Roosters HQ this morning, injury free, and will take their place in Trent Robinson's side tomorrow night against the Eels.
Roosters TV will be catching up with our Origin heroes later today, so make sure you stay tuned for their thoughts following the Series opener.

          Classic.

I'd be very tempted if I was Robbo to rest these three players.

Let's get real, we could run the Newtown boys out there and beat the Eels.

At the very least, hopefully they get a decent spell if the game is in the bag early.

What was all this hyperbole about Morty and Langi being the halves then?

Injury and game vs Dogs when origin players won't be available to play.

I don't think TR will actually be that worried about Langi's ability to step up when he plays the Dogs so i don't think he'll see a need to give him a run in this game. He's trained to fill in at 6 and he will come in and do his job. Imo the best scenario would be to have Langi on the bench and come on as a backrower (would probably be lock when you consider our second row) then if we are well up with 25 to go then for his second stint have him and Morts in the halves and take pearce and maloney off to help them strike up a combination.

On a seperate note, i thought Sam Moa said he'd be back for this game.

I see. Thanks for the clarification.

                          I wouldn't get too cocky...

Yes we are a good team, but the Eels do have some proud players who can perform on their day. If we turn up with a park footy attitude, they'll serve it to us like professionals.

I'm actually quite scared that 3/4 of their boys are on notice. They'll be looking to secure contracts with other clubs next season and have everything to lose.

Don't be surprised if the Eels give our full strength, 100% switched on team a run for their money this week. Definitely won't be 50-0 again!

Fark me, i dont usually take things for granted but looking at the 2 teams we should really smash parra, thats even before you take into account that Ricky Stuart has split the playing in 3. Even heard Jarrod Hayne this afternoon and he sounded pretty pissed at whats gone on there during the week. They are a rabble at the moment.
