  • If Moga replaces SKD..

This probably won't happen this year but if it does, can Moga play right centre after playing left centre his whole career so far plus junior years? Does he step to the left or right? Can he pass from left to right?

Also most sides have better attack to the left because most players pass left to right better, so is he able to defend better than SKD while possibly being wrong footed? We've seen Moga's defense already and it clearly wasn't up to scratch. SKD has been playing 11 games so far under Robbo and still has issues.

So will it really be better replacing defense (SKD) with possibly more attack? (Moga)

this has turned into another 'million threads on the one topic' ordeal.
JJ, mate, this has already been thought of, posted, and criticised in other threads. many times.

He's played multiple first grade games at right centre. Also played very well for the Junior Kangaroos at right centre in 2011. I just hope Trent Robinson is having the same effect on him as he has on the rest of our squad. If that is the case he will become a special player in first grade.

It's an interesting point though JJ. Jennings is obviously a left side specialist. Daniel Tupou has been a right side player pretty much his whole career. I would say the two young players in the system that are most likely to be in our long term backline would be Moga and Taane Milne. Moga is a left side specialist. Milne is a right centre, not super quick but great footwork and very good defensively. If they all keep developing over the next two years could see a left to right backline of Moga, Jennings, Milne and Toupo (with RTS at fullback), all playing on there preferred sides. Mind you Moga is an out and out centre, and turns too slow to be a winger. If Milne progresses quicker and Moga is slowed by this knee injury could we see an early move into the backrow for Moga. It would be a shame but he's certainly big enough, can hit (just not read) in defence, has an offload and has shown a good pass before the line at times in different grades. He'd certainly be one heck of a dynamic attacking backrower and certainly one of the quickest. I mean imo he'll shine when he gets back into first grade and assume the right centre position but i don't think a shift to the forwards is completely out of the question if he has lost some pace and acceleration.

When did SKD turn into a defensive centre? Please. I've seen 16 year olds with better tackling techniques than this imposter.
