Did it warrant showing by the broadcaster???

Couldn't Fox have just sent a copy of the footage to the NRL who could've dealt with the wee incident without bringing the game into pissrepute???

The broadcasters love that kind of stuff, that video has probably been shown all around the world with their logo in the top right hand corner.

Whilst it's beneficial for both Fox & the NRL that the game maintains a strong and respected brand, broadcasters will always act in their best interests first and foremost and I don't think anyone can really blame them for that.

And I've heard people like Paul Kunt commenting on that exact thing, the footage being shown internationally. On Fox shows.

Packman may have done the deed, but never was it his intention to embarrass the game. Otherwise he'd have just lobbed his dick out and pissed in full view of the cameras.

IMO the broadcaster has bought the game into pissrepute again. As does the newspaper very often.

Other sports, Yawnion and Soccer and gAyFL, often have things like this covered up so as to protect their codes reputation.

We are always the whipping boy, and it's usually our so called own who do the whipping.

I am not worried personally, I've seen worse in the game, and I know you can't kill our game, in fact that sort of publicity actually has the opposite effect, strangely as the pissrepute grows so does the audience.

Classic example yesterday. All the news was about Midgethead assaulting CaptainPeps fist with his oversized melon. Then I see this little headline about a biting allegation in some pissant Yawnion game involving some pommie twats. I didn't bother clicking on the article so I have NFI what it's about.

Talkback radio outraged that little Johnny will do a CaptainPep. Newspapers front an back pages full of Origin rumbles.

As a parent and a junior RL coach I don't condone violence but I'd much rather kids know about a fight than a bite.

The media has a farked way of promoting stuff, I know that.

Would Fox Sports even exist without RL???

        Pisstake.
