So what you are telling me backwards is that we should change our attacking structure to suit a dufus on a marquee salary who can't play outside arguably the best attacking backrower in the game in the event that it "may" improve his attack (again arguably). We then also move the guy who has been covering his arrse in defense because when Maubs was with him our right side defense was unpenetrable. Of the points I made about his regularly stuff ups exactly what will improve in those cases?

I actually think playing SBW on Jennings side will provide a lethal left side attack but IMO it will cause more problems on the right.

Mate SKD cannot play outside SBW because he doesn't have the skill to take advantage of what SBW creates.. He is not able to anticipate SBW's flick passes where as Jennings is.. SKD needs to function on the end of a simpler attacking structure which Pearce and Maubs would provide. I think this is win win and Maubs can cover his arse in defence.

As for the SKiDiot he does do good things here and there but It would be nice to see him find some consistent form. It's like nowadays he's defense has improved but he's attacking ability now lacks. It's taking him a while to gain he's confidence back too which is a concern.

SKD has improved his defense by a long way and in all truth the whole team has a million miles to go in attack before they are where they want to be.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't SBW start the year on the left side and only moved to the right to fix the defensive deficiency? Either way I think the reason he is on the right is because Robbo believes that is the damage minimisation in defence which is what appears to be the main focus so far this season. Nobody can argue with how our defensive structures are working and part of that is covering for SKD's flaws. Yes he has done some good things in defence but there are many more times where SKD has stuffed up only for SBW to cover.

Changing all that just to see IF SKD can provide anything in attack is a risky call.

Personally I rate Maubs as high as $BW when it comes to defence.

I think here's a kid who has come thru 5 different coaches in 7 seasons, playing often with SKiDmark outside him either as back row/centre or centre/wing combos, and still managed to retain his spot and look after the men around him.

Now he's been switched to the left and has not missed a beat.

IMO he'd have no worries working with SKiD again especially in defence.

I recall earlier this season Brainmeister blamed Maubs for SKiDs poor attack. I think even he'd admit now Maubs can play a bit.

What about the irony. Many had Maubs in SKiDs position, either Pootown or Siberia, before a ball had been kicked this season. Now those same people are suggesting Maubs take his place.
