Was a one year extension. Signed until end of 2014.

I found FPN to be quite the opposite of what you are saying with the kids

To be honest it worries me the least whether he is nice with fans, or takes photos at fan days, or is out and about in the press all the time. The thing that worries me is whether or not our club invests its money wisely.

FPN will not agree to sign a contract worth 100-150k. IMO that is what he is worth when you look at other players around. He is no chance of making the starting 13 and lucky to be in the 17, were it not for injury he wouldn't be there imho. His attitude is wrong and he only seems to care about playing for a contract.

It it were up to me, I would give him the flick and sign a hard nut front rower for depth, who has been around for a while and is a fringe first grader. We could get him cheap ~ 100k , and he could give us valuable depth. Something like the Sam Moa signing would be nice.
          Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

The Faiders would go off their heads if we 'poached' another one of their 'juniors' though.
St Merge are the best at pillaging their stocks. Over the past 4 years - Weyman, Bronson Harrison, Vidot, Dugan,
Joel Thompson (2014) & possibly Sam Williams. They figured that if they cannot beat Canberra they might as well buy them.

Would love to poach Brenton Lawrence from the Sea Eagles, has got a big motor and pace to burn for a front rower.

I agree Gman. But I live in the capital and they still carry on about us being a feeder club for them. Finch, Monaghan, T Carney, J Carney, Gaffey, Hall, Phillips, Payton, Pongia. I'm sure there's more. It's sickening having to put up with them and their us against the world attitude. The carry on over getting compensation for Dugan for instance. They carry on like they are the only club who has had to sack a local for disciplinary reasons and have them turn up at another club.

Lol! Good point. I'll mention that next time a Raiders fan starts going on about the Dugan situation.

really!? I know Crocker also was/is. Its no secret I agree with the general sentiment. Even if SKD gets back to full flight, I would take wighton over him any day. Surely playing out on the wing/in reggies will wear him down in time. We can only hope!

I have always backed the club when they have taken calculated risks. Signing O'meley and Mason is an example of the opposite of making a calculated risk. FPN is a footballer who is lazy and has the wrong attitude. It would be a mistake to sign him on for more than one year.
We were winning matches early in the season with him in the team?

He should be staying with us.
