First of all lets get some things right before we blow steam about match officials.Our 5th tackle options all night were appalling .Zero repeats where as Stormwankers options were effective and often rewarding Hence their shallow victory.
Once again I repeat my self the same boof heads that make the same lame blunders and give the same stupid penalties are still our weakness.We are a good side but last night was a let down .
It showed we missed our good go forward boys in Moa and JWH.
Our best player was by far FPN ..when he came on he was making good straight hard meters one after the other and those plays brought us forward and he should start the match next week.
Now what about the officials ? I dont usually whinge too much about them because for us its ten years of the same but their blunders was twice the turning points of the game .You saw the end of the first half- very appalling and thats where the points got conceded to win the match .The other was SBW offload to SKD that has him into the clear -gets called forward and it was a meter back.See the sideline farkwits officials face of fear when he realised his blatant cheat and wrongfulness.
We were not good, very patchy didnt help we didnt get penalties for Melbournes offside plays especially with the second markers way wide and offside slowing our plays not one bloody penalty and they did it in every set of six.If thats Melbournes best then they are not our contenders they just got away with it.


Interceptor - 3- Some may rate Mini higher he wasnt that bad but I am looking at it as a Captains perspective-he needed to rip into the officials and swing the game around fairly he was too quiet and through that shit house intercept that costa chance.The sooner he opens up his no frill spag joint the better.

ZIp Zip -7 -What our like about our very own Zip zip man is he has a go and takes it up .It was dissapointing to see we only ran a back line play once last night and it resulted in a try to Zip Zip .He got in and did a lot of dirty work for some bludgers last night.A champ.



Lloyd-0- Youve seen Dumb and dumber well we signed him years ago. No way SKD he should play first grade again he is too costly enough is enough move Toups there and oldfield to the wing.Tear up his contract and sign Folau.

Speed racer -5- Nil opportunities but even the way he reacted on the loose ball was pure speed.Get more ball out to him.

Eiffel tower -4- Toups tried but wasnt his night not quite into possie for some of those high balls but Storm were ready for it .Also needs more ball on the fly not just bombs.

Celebrity -6- shit kicking game not bad plays but didnt run it enough ..forgot he had backs .The one time he ran you saw the result .That was no kick in the scrum either just a nervous twitch he gets in his knee..no contact no worries.Here is a warning Malones dont let you new found fame get to your head or you will end up like Benji Marshall.

Banana Brain-2-didnt decide to do much until the last 10 minutes .The old man say more banana sandwiches and he will get better .I blame his forwards for not giving him and Malones space to work with but he can be better than that and waht has happend to his kicking game? Shocker.

Maubswitch-3- This was not a game for him to start we needed up the middle meter eaters and we got a crawler .Shit game.

Overated -5- resonable but they talk him like he was Brad Clyde or some thing .Cordner is not there yet and shouldnt be chosen for SOO on his current form.

Lubricant Hands -4- how bad was SBW's hands last night ? still was there to almost give us the match winner.So I forgive .Give that Gell back to Aloney.

Fat Bastard -5- Kennedy is confusing he is good at looking bad when he really isnt .His work rate was high 38 tackles 87 meters for 6 hit ups imagine if sludge guts had more vigor and ran the balkl at least another 7 ! this is what he lacks and a little discipline.

Meds-5 - tackled his little blond ass out but was given no room by Storm odffside markers ..cant knock him too much. >see car park Bondi

LO(A)Dofshit-5 He was good and he was shit .The hard stuff yes the blunders no .Luke is a mixed bag of joy and dissapointment.

Holiday -1- so much spark but no one brang a match to light up Morts.

Grunter -8- surely the meter counters are wrong when he came on he changed our fortunes hit it up hard and vengeance and got us back on the front foot .FPN was our best and its about time and make sure he starts next week.

Im Farting -3- Guerra has been a bludger all year and also should be dropped .You have rocks in your head if you think this guy is any value.

raging Bull- 4- not much time on for Tasi .I would like to see Coach put him and FPN to start and see what they can deliver with more game time.

Good review. Agree with all except LoD and Guerra. LoD was second only to FPN as far as our forwards go. He ran straight and hard and scored a barnstorming try.

And i thought Guerra played well too. Constantly punching holes in their defense, running good lines.

Like you i think if that's the Storms best then they're in trouble. As funny as it may sound given that they won i almost saw last night as the end of the dynasty. They were there to be hammered; and when we get our front rowers back and play SMART football then we'll kill them.

Similar to when the Storm scraped a win over Manly in late 2008, but you still sensed the tide had turned and of course Manly smashed them 40 nil in the GF.

This is the Roosters and Souths competition to take IMO. In the long run we'll learn more for losing last night than we would have scraping an ugly win.

Still, Pearce's kicking game has to get better. And SKD HAS to go. Such a liability. Not only in defense but on the break, too. When Jennings or RTS make a break i jump up in excitement. But when it's SKD i cringe in fear because you never know when he'll just punch the ball outta his own ****ing hands like he did vs Manly! We just need someone solid in his place. Look at Souths centres...the definition of solid but unspectacular. And that's all we need.

Anyway rant coming to a close. Bottom line is we're SO CLOSE to being the finished article. I just hope its finals time this year not next.

1. Pearce being as thick as pigshit and being unable to kick.

2. Kenny-Dowall has lost whatever spark of talent he had.

3. Mini - he needs to go. This bullshit about how he can catch bomb like no-one else doesn't cut it anymore. Sheck can do that and he's fast and he has a step reminiscent of the player Mini used to be.
