Why is it we have fans of other teams in the chookpen week in week out? why are they not asked to leave, it is obvious they are not members, We pay extra money to be a part of the Roosters crowd, me and my family shouldnt have to listen to people behind us that support the broncos laughing at us losing, and there was also a group of storm fans a couple rows down from us, We might as well buy general tickets and sneak our way in the pen since it doesnt seem anyone gives a damn about who sits in it. Enough is enough get other supporters out of our members area

you can joke about it but people are paying $100s to sit in the pen and i see Roosters fans walking around looking for a seat but the away team are taking them ffs! Why were 4 guys in broncos gear sitting in the pen saying "im loving this" as we are losing while Roosters fans are walking around looking for seats?

It is pretty awful. It's just way too easy to buy GA tickets and sneak into the Chookpen and fair enough, it is pretty hard to for ushers to contain that... But fair dinkum, when Away teams start hijacking the area then it becomes a bit of a joke.

Only thing that one can do is email the Sydney Roosters and let them know.

That is actually a very fair complaint,that should be put to and addressed by marketing forth with.
The package was advertised and sold as a "Chookpen" season memberships,and was purchased knowing the exclusive use of this reserved area was for fellow club chookpen season ticket holders.
Our club is paying the SCG trust a huge rental fee for this ground,and should expect proper area allocation policing by their staff.

its all part of the contempt shown to the roosters by the establishment, the bar behind the chookpen wasnt even opened last night in anticipation of a small crow3d, its not as if it wouldnt have made money on the outragious prices charged v minimal wages

I noticed this too, when we came down we changed our GA tickets for Chookpen tickets and paid the extra and sat down the front.
We don't want anyone in the Chookpen if they are not Roosters supporters.

I thought this thread might have been about ridding the Chookpen of serial swearers. I'm sat there with my 5 year old nephew and this dickhead behind me is all like 'fcuking' this and 'cnut' that - loudly and repeatedly for 80 mins. Then there was the dude in front who bellowed "I hope you get aids and die" towards the refs, and followed up with "break his neck", aimed at Slater.

I wanted to fight them - that's how angry it got me - but I'm not sure how I could ethically rationalise that, given my beef was these nobs setting a bad example for my nephew. Still.

Bring back the Hastings stand.

I think the problem is caused by our own club not opening the areas behind the goals It is giving people no alternative but to sit in the chookpen even if they dont have tickets as the GA seating when we are getting crowds like we have done this season is running out fast When this happens there really isnt much security can do

The chookpen was chockers last night and against Parra both those matches the behind the grounds araeas were not open But the week before when there was a significanlty lower crowd it was nowhere near as full

Now I know the club wants to make it look crowded for the tv But it is coming at the expense of those members who pay top dollar to sit in the chookpen When we get people sitting in there simply becuase the ground along either side of the chookpen isa filling up
