Anyone know of a good pub in Melbourne that will show the game live tonight? Preferably with sound and not a poxy tv in the corner.

Honey, there ain't no such thing. I lived down there for a year and I may as well had been living on Mars. I felt more at home in London than I ever did in Melbourne. They'll think you want to watch 'rugby'..and they can't distinguish between the QLD Reds and the Maroons..good luck though..I really do hope you get to see the game, especially down there..

My niece works at Crown and yes you can see it there as they are major sponsors. When they score at home games, they let off some sort of purple fireworks at the fountain thing outside.

Just google a few pubs around where you are and call them.
