IMO Guerra was overhyped coming into this year, by myself included.

He stood out a lot last year, but im starting to think that may have been because he was one of the few players that actually gave his all for the full 80 minutes.
this year, with a new coach, structure, etc, there are a lot more, if not all of our players playing for the full 80 mins, which means Guerra sort of falls into the background again.

Playing with 2 props an edge player and a back up hooker isnt ideal

We do require 3 props... to make those hard yards.

Doing his job fine. We need a backrower who can come on and play tight but also has the ability to cover playing on the fringes in case Sonny or Maubs go down during the game.

Yeh I've been saying this for a while his defence has always been a bit suspect imo. I do feel for him though because he is a first grade standard edge runner but he's stuck behind Maubs & SBW.

In his defence I do think his tight hit ups have been improving but if Napa is to come in it wouldn't surprise me if it was at Guerra's expense with FPN playing the lock role of the bench who can cover he fringes if needed. We did struggle for go forward against Nth Qld.

Guerra's defence has always been this way. I rate him, but he does fall off a tackle here and there. One of his strengths is taking attacking cross field bombs, but unfortunately our kickers have not been targeting him. Partly because when he does come on, he is playing a lot tighter lately. Im not giving up on him but would be happy to see Nappa get a go
