I am pissed off with our officials, for not having the balls to challenge if not the charge, then the grading at least, it was a love tap, Rose, was falling into the tackle before it was made, ffs, at the most a one week suspension, would be suffice, for that action. A bad lack of action by the club,I had high hopes that under the new ref's boss, things would improve, but alas, they cant get the shoulder charge right, the obstruction rule right, the missed forward passes right, and now, the gradeings right, so what hope has the game got.Piss off the video judges, piss off the duel referee's, go back to the two in goal touch judges, and let them rule on a fair gounding of the ball or not, and let the ref handle the rest of the game, sure he will make some blues, but with all the others involved, its no better, and too cooks in the pot, all with different interperpratations, of the rules.

5 weeks for that!!!!! what a disgrace.....they upgraded to charge from a careless tackle to a reckless one so that Checcin wouldnt look bad in sending him off. The charge should have been a careless high tackle at worst and with loading a 2-3 week suspension. We need FPN and LOD to fire up this week for us to be any chance.

I bet in a few weeks time when the brouhaha settles down teams like Manly will be getting away with spear tackles and head high shots again with no send offs.

Jared/Roosters have pleaded guilty. He is out for five weeks (what a JOKE!!!). I just hope this doesn't change his mind set because of this very harsh decision that was placed upon him, he has improved his discipline and is playing some of his best footy of his career which started last year and has improved every game. So chin up Jared and come back bigger and stronger which I am sure you will.

The Judiciary has now made an example of Jared by saying no more high shots in the NRL (or is it because of his past reputation), all I can say is the Judiciary will be very busy from here on in with at least three players will now be sent from the field each round for high shots. It's a bloody DISCRACE!!!!

If it was his first offence it would've just been the 2 weeks.
he is a repeat offender, again and again. Every year now for the last 3 years.
As was Morley and Crocker. You need these guys in the team for what they bring, but you have to be prepared to suffer the consequences.

All enforcers play very close to the edge of the send offs.....it's just the way it is. Sometimes it's a great bone crunching tackle....others, it ends in an early shower.

You make some good points Muff, but to blame Smith blows your argument to bits. The bloke plays hard and will get suspended most years. By saying that it's Smith fault, you are now saying Robbo is letting Jarred go unchecked.
