I shudder to think what this place will be like if we lose
Cmon we have been here long enough to know what that is like However seeing some have had to wait so long for this to happen I am sure the reaction to our next loss whenever that may be will be extra special
I respect all our moderators here. Past present and even future. Always have done and always will do a wonderful job.

We should smash them Thurston is playing with a busted shnoz and two black eyes....they have already put the bait out there on us becareful Rooster boys....where's JWH when you need him...lol
Yeah I reckon we'll fire up too.
Don't know whether the new front row will have the juice to keep it up for 80 though.
Are you saying that the short turnaround is somehow linked to bad recruitment?
We're in better shape than a lot of clubs when it comes to depth. At least we have first graders to come in and replace Moa and JWH, unlike say, the Tigers. And did you notice how the Dogs went without Kasiano and Graham?
Some people aren't happy unless they're having a moan.
quite clearly you never read my post properly , have you seen our reserve grade team play in the last two weeks , theres a reason lama hasnt played yet , did you watch him play in samoa vs tonga ? , or for the jets i have its not a moan its the reality of having all your eggs in 1 basket , and 1st grade qualitiy from the other 8 players named in our 25 salary cap to slot in when injuries and suspension take place , im saying we will lose momentum in the most important place a game takes place , thats in the forwards the middle , thats where the games won , and thats where we are thin in our playing stocks

So are you saying we should have signed some more forwards instead of Jennings and Maloney?
They're called injuries and suspensions. Every club gets them. And due to the salary cap, pretty much every club struggles when they DO get them.
And yeah, I do watch Newtown. If you watched Kane Evans play against the Cutters 2 Saturdays back, you'll have noticed he went pretty well....
For what it's worth, I once saw JT play at Henson for the Bulldogs and he was terrible.....so playing reserve grade isn't always a great indicator of ability. Tasi has done well previously in first grade, and I'd back him to go OK again.

You make a good point about placing too much emphasis on "form" in the lower grades...it can be hard to look good.
Good players step up in firsts..its about getting an opportunity.
even jt will be a bit gunshie after breaking his nose against souffs! a perfect time for sbw to hit him very hard?
might even quieten him down a bit for the night?
