He needs to work on our attack. This week and last week have all been fluke tries.

I am a believer. Good coaches have an aura around them. I can definitely sense it around Robbo.

Manly were a big test, but a bigger test is next week against the Cows at home. I believe that will be a harder game than tonight because the Cows' pride is hurt, they are at home and have a team full of internationals.

We are going to be missing arguably our best player this season. Someone will need to pick up the slack and to the 100metres and 30 tackles that JWH has been delivering.

Coming second after 9 weeks, second only to the Vermin, turning the club around after the train wreck Smith....normally clubs take years to recover from a dose of Smith... I reckon he is a genius. The attack will come good, have some faith my friend.

Helps when you have decent players. Maloney. Sbw and jennings have had an enormous impact

totaly agree, but great to see our defense was good.Refereing was bad again. Re Holden cup, was Jacko Noble injured? only got 27 minutes game time,he looked okay his defense was rock solid again. When hes on tic tic bang win. Whats doing?

We have a problem with our attack? Looking at the for and against, it is currently the best in the comp. Imagine what it will be like when he "fixes" it...

Robinson has been our best buy of the year. Granted he has had 3 superstars to help his cause, but the speed at which he has got the team to gel together has been fantastic. With the superstars comes egos as well, however they have certainly been playing like a champion team rather than a team of champions.

Robinsons biggest achievement has been our defence. And that can't be put down to the star purchases, as Maloney and Jennings have had question marks on their defence in the past. In addition to defence, he has Pearce plaking much better (though this can be attributed to Maloney as well), overseen real improvment in the Friend and Morts, improved our discipline, got Mini playing much better by playing to his strengths, introduced some star youngsters to our team, got a previous NRL reject (Moa) to play a key role in our team, and most of all got the team believing in his plan and playing with the right attitude.

Now if he can get some consistency in SKD's game, he will be promoted to God-like status! (though I don't want to turn this into another SKD thread!).

I like that our club at the end of last year backed themselves and went for an inexperienced coach to fill the void.

We finally look like a team worthy of finals after the whole "play what's in front of you" Smithy debacle.
                  Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"
