    The way that I see Kenny doofus, is that last year with injuries and playing on the inside of a shitty halves combo,he could be forgiven for being crap.

    However this year is all about redemption. If he doesn't play well, playing on the outside of the best halves combo's in the comp and the best offloading backrower of our generation, then when will he play well ???

    he really worries me.
    Comment of the year:

        Spot on post davos, you summed it up really well!

        SKD really frustrates me. I was very happy with his performances against the bull$cum and st merge dragqueens. But, then he turns in an ordinary performance like what he did against manly. Where is his consistency? You could argue a point that the going was easier in the games against the bull$cum and st merge where we won convincingly, and the going was tough against manly, and when the going gets tough SKD capitulates.

        He was really embarrassing in the 15th minute when manly were attacking his side and turned him inside out. He turned his back on the play and started running away from them, made him look like a complete fool with NFI. I noticed right throughout the game that Pearce covered for him in defense beautifully. If it was someone like sandow or prince instead of Pearce, SKD would be f**ked!

        I love how good we are going this year and am savoring every minute of it, however, you should always look to the future as well and always strive for perfection. So in saying that, if we could get either Tomkins or Folau, with SKD being a sacrifice to do so, than it would be worth it. I realize to get either of those two players we would need to sacrifice another player or two but SKD would be the main one.

        What backline would you rather;

        A}
        1) S. Tomkins, 2) R.T. Sheck, 3) M. Jennings, 4) T. Moga, 5) D. Toupo

        B}
        1) R.T. Sheck, 2) T. Moga, 3) M. Jennings, 4) I. Folau, 5) D. Toupo

        C}
        1) A. Minichello, 2) R.T. Sheck, 3) M. Jennings, 4) S.K. Dowall, 5) D. Toupo

        Although option C is quite strong and certainly doing a job for us this year, you would have to say that options A and B are more superior.

        The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

        Here's looking at you, kid.

          You could put the name of any player that in the world in those respective positions as you have above. Why are you asking this question with unlikely scenarios (of players)?
          Replace Tomkins and Folau with Roosters/ Jets players and ask us to compare.

            Option D
            1- Tansey
            2-Byrne
            3-Sa
            4-Jones
            5-C.Walker

            All class that backline

                Having missed watching the game live as I was interstate, I taped it and watched the game this afternoon. If anybody reckons that SKD had a good game against Manly, they are either easily pleased or their eyes are painted on.

                He is lucky that the team is winning and performing well. You can't carry someone for ever. I hope he doesn't cost us an important game in the near future. Watching him is like waiting for a bomb to go off and not knowing when it will.

                What has happened to his pace? Hopefully Moga will be fit and raring to go towards the later stages of the season.

                  moga and toupu have along way to go to have gauranteed spots, moga showed alot of lazyness in alot of games he played last yr. both have age on their sides and potentiel is there, but if people are putting izzy and tomkins in some fantasy dream side im not sure what toops and moga have done to be named along side them.

                    He is not injured enough to rest, but not quite right to play at his best. Its been that way for a while.
                    Anyone that thinks Moga is going to be great in the near future needs to think again. What you have here is the classic case of the U20s star that has no idea. He got on the food in the off season and was too fat and injured himself. When he played last year he was far from any good especially in defense. Pinning your hopes on this guy is a worry.

                      No you can't put the name of any player in the world in those respective positions as not every player is available. Why are they such unlikely scenarios? I am asking which player between Tomkins and Folau (who are both available to get for next season) would be best to get for the make up of our side at the expense of SKD and Mini. I have been very pleased with Mini this year but I think it is in our best interests if he retires as he will turn 34 in May next year. I take it that you want to go with option C and keep both SKD and Mini for next year? Or is that an unlikely scenario as well?

                        Toupo seems to have guaranteed a spot so that doesn't seem to be much of a stretch. Moga under Robbo will be a far more improved player than what he was under Smiffy, especially with a full pre season under his belt going into next year. I am not putting both Tomkins and Folau in a possible side for us as that would be impossible with the cap, I am basically saying one of them would be great, which one would be better to get for the make up of our side. If you are not happy with Toupo and Moga for next year than who do you think should be there in place of them?

                        • I could well be wrong, but I have this feeling that we will not see moga in first grade for quite a while, maybe years, if at all.
                          I just don't rate him or his attitude as a first grader and by the time he grows up he will be surpassed by others.
                          But it would not be the first time I have been proven wrong.

                            Fair enough with your opinion Ms Tee, my opinion is different. I do have a good feeling about Moga, I believe with a good pre season going into next year will do him the world of good, and he will be in for a good season in first grade. Robbo will prove to be the big difference with Moga. Smiffy wasn't getting the best out of Moga and as a consequence his confidence was down. It didn't help when Smiffy would belittle him in front of his team mates.

                            Under Robbo Moga's attitude, defense and confidence will improve and so you will see a much improved Moga. Robbo's structures will help him. Mogo is only 19, I wouldn't be writing him off just yet.

                              • SKD is definitely not the player he was a few years ago, he is just an average first grader average in attack and in defence.
