Although I heard Warren Smith mention that negoatiations are starting with Mini's manager for another year. I still get shivers just thinking about it.
Tomkins is also another option but he too won't come cheap.

True.
I wouldnt go for Tomkins though. Too expensive for a player that has not played NRL and we have RTS.....
Izzy - definitely yes ! but after his stellar season in rugby he will have a lot of teams throwing top dollar at him in union alone. So unless he wants to return to league it will take a lot of money....
Any other good CTW/WING options out there ?

If we are to buy one marquee player next year it must be a centre or wing.
Josh Morris was also rumoured to have asked for a release from the Dogs.
RTS - Moga - Morris/Izzy - Jennings - Toupo. I'd like to see that.

We have ourselves a good 'un
But every week I see things he has worked on coming to fruition.
Mini, Friendly, PearceOrf, MK, Maubs, JWH even SKiDs defence all have minimised the bad parts of their games and emphasised the good parts.
Yep the newbies have gone great but the blokes who were here have all been the beneficiaries of great coaching this year IMO.
The FlogPen .
You know it makes sense.

I think right side centre is arguably the hardest spot to defend in from both a decision making and technical point of view.
It's the side where; teams execute their best passing game (right to left passes), consequently the side where majority of teams send their strike players (Inglis, Slater, Boyd and to lesser extent broncos left edge with Norman proving effective to Reed/Hoffman). Most kickers (right foot) prefer kicking across their body - right to left. For majority of players left shoulder is their non-preferred tackling shoulder, which when you defend right side it's always going to be your lead shoulder. The two best defensive centres in the game are right side players for reason - Hodges and Lyon.
I think SKD is getting a lot of things right in defence and is consistently improving, in tandem with SBW and RTS.
