All i have heard all week is how we have beat nobody, and the manly game is to prove we are for real....

We have FLOGED a panthers side that beat Storm
SMASHED a dragons side that took manly the distance
TAMED the Dogs who have gone on to win 3 in a row
Beat the Warriors in NZ who gave Storm a handful in MELBOURNE

We have the Best for and against by a country mile, They can say we havent beat anyone but we have SMASHED teams the other top 4 teams are struggling/losing against.

When we win tomorrow all we will hear is "Stuart was out" bet you


Forget the media boys go out there tomorrow and get the W, We know your for real and that what matters.

To be fair since round one we haven't beaten any top teams and we have played a lot of games at home. The flipside of that is that we have made the most of those games by pointing plenty of points on and letting very few be scored.

The next three weeks will give us a far better sense of where we are at.

it keeps happening. some idiots on here shoot their load too early.
the same thing happened before round 1 and at half time against the raiders.
wait til AFTER tomorrows game before saying we are the real deal. wait til AFTER we play Melbourne before saying were premiership contenders.

True but a mark of average teams is that they turn up one week and not the next so you don't get a clean form line. The Storm have also been patchy for the last month.

The next three games will tell us a lot more that the last 8 weeks.

totally agree, but the papers act as if we have done nothing, Panthers showed up last week against us , we were at 50% for most the game and still cruised to victory, Storm couldnt score more then 2 tries against the same team and there th "Bench Mark" and we are "Pretenders"

You can only play what's in front of you. With the exception of the Raiders game we have won every game we were expected to win.
When your losing 50 percent of of those games you know your in for a shit year.

I'd rather people express pride and confidence in the team than the sort of hand-wringing, self-flagellating doom and gloom that has characterised this place for the last couple of years.

Sure, we might get flogged tomorrow, lose the next six straight and go out backwards. But we seem to be going well and people are entitled to be optimistic and enjoy the good times while they last.

I would rather the media not pumping us and calling us contenders. And I hope our players read every article that calls us pretenders or states that we havent beaten any decent teams.

I hope it reallu gets under the skin of our players that have half a spine.

We have beaten nobodies...

Doesn't mean we're not a good team but it's fact we've beaten nobodies so far.

We've played 3 top 8 sides and lost 2, I barely even consider the Broncos a top 8 side anyway once teams like the dogs, Cowboys & Sharks start to click they'll be well out of the 8.

I get your point, but it still means little until we actually prove ourselves. We have beaten crap teams that have done well against the better teams but that means sfa unless we turn up against the bigger teams too. By the way LOL @ Storm
