Whilst launching a team of the decade in 2013 is somewhat unusual, it's not the most ridiculous thing I've seen.
I think we must be careful not to diminish the value of these sort of achievements by turning them into nothing more than game time promotion.
In relation to the team itself, I think they got it pretty right.

Unlike a lot of you on here I'm a Hodgo fan, however SKD deserves his spot for what he did in 2010. Hodgo deserves his bench spot due to him deciding not play in the 2004 grand final.
I would take Hegarty on the wing for Amos (I think he was very lucky...but good on him)

Not sure how perrett and SKD are ahead of, mullins and Hodges, but it is a wonder how we made it to four gfs in the last 10 years with a backline like that.

Perrett IMHO was not even worthy of making the starting 17 each week let alone the team of the decade.

I wouldn't give Hodgo any sort of award/acclaim/acknowledgement as a Roosters. He hasn't said anything good about the Roosters since he left. He is as much a Rooster as Terry Hill was.

Given the choice, a wing combo of Mullins and Roberts would be a better pairing.
