Was at the game yesterday and it was ponted out to me that there was not much on field "painted"advertising on the field. However , every time i looked at the big screens at a replay etc, there were numerous painted banners on the ground. One right on half way advertising (or displaying their logo, is probably a better word) the R.S.L. There was also a bright orange one on the 22 at the Nth end of the ground. Probably one also at the Sth 22 but did not take that much notice.
My Q is..Are these "banners" superimposed for T.V? Or were they actually painted on the ground but i just could not make them out for some unkown reason?
Also for the 1st time since 2008 (when i became a member) i could actually hear, and hear clearly ALL the onground comentary during the ANZAC day ceremony and comentary by the onfield announcer (J.Smith). Seems they may have finally updated/ fixed the P.A system!
