  • Today was awesome

So much that I wanted to see.. Long range Jennings tries, freakish SBW offloads, an ANZAC day crushing win... What a glorious day. That is all.

Not to mention the crowd getting there regardless of the fact that it was a 4pm kickoff and "everyone" was at work.

What was the ratio of Dragons to Chooks fans? We're we more present this year?

I was at the game but it'd be too hard to tell you, the colours just blend in together.

Awesome crowd, there's no way the capacity is 45k though as was evident today. Loved every second of it.

We partook in that Aussie tradition of chucking a sickie so we could be at the game. : P

Noticably more Roosters fans than in previous years.

I've been to the last 3-4 Anzac Day games and it's been embarrassing. 75-25 to them.

I would say yesterday was 60-40 to them, maybe even 55-45 after all the Jimmys I had.

Most fun I've had a Roosters game since the Titans semi-final win at Suncorp in 2010, especially because I was able to give it to one of my best mates who goes for Merge.

It felt and sounded to me like there were actually more of us than them (I mean before the game/when the sides were coming out etc - way more booing for them/cheering for us)

Probably a fair call too. I'm just so used to it being a sea of red and white but it definitely wasn't that yesterday.

Maybe I'm getting older, but I feel like Easts fans are becoming more and more retarded.

We're a mob of pissed up dickheads.

I don't think I can sit in the around the Pen anymore, it's full of tools.

How anyone can criticise other clubs when we're the way we are is beyond me.

I'll never sit in the Pen again after Anzac Day 2011 when a well-known female troublemaker fan ruined the whole day, crying about any Saints supporter in the bay, being racist to Asian fans. F-bombs and C-bombs and threatening to kill the Toyota Cup ref in earshot of kids! Unbelievable.

Apparently she is well known to the club for these issues so I don't know why she hasn't been banned.

did anyone watch the Essendon v Collingwood Anzac game?
the crowd there was more than twice that of our game yesterday, but I doubt there would've been a single yobbo yelling out during the moment's silence.
