No to all those guys named by Roz. We already have Maloney, RTS and then Langi for the positions those guys play. At this point focus on who is at the club now.

Didn't see the game but I did watch the City v Country game & really like the look of Jack Wighton. I love young tough centres who want to hurt the opposition when they tackle them & he fits that bill.

My tip is this guy Wighton will reach the highest heights of the game along with Tedesco.
Im still waiting for my other tips Blake Ferguson & Josh Mansour to make it to the next level but I still think they will.

id take him over skd, but the kid will end up a 5/8 sooner or later.

              Both great prospects
No it was Clint Gutherson from the Sea Eagles actually.

Cummins on the other hand might certainly be worth a go. The dragons just signed widdop and were/are apparently still going for dugan and with beale already there as well, I cant see what hope this bloke has of cracking first grade at fullback.

The other bloke whose contract scenario is unknown to me but who I think would be a massive coup is young dylan walker from souths. He is a genuine gun player and I think a long-term 5/8 prospect (Langi is definitely a lock forward). At souths he is behind sutton (who just signed on long-term), reynolds and keary in the halves and they have so much depth in the centres (his other position of choice) that beau champion has been playing NSW cup of late because they havent been able to even fit him in (an established first grader of 100+ games).

I honestly think cummins, walker and langi are the 3 most enigmatic talents coming through and given the situations of the cummins and walker at their current clubs, Id like to think we were a chance. The icing on the cake would be Wighton who I think is also going to have trouble securing a permanent start at canberra when they return to full strength as they have mccrone, cornish, williams and campese in the halves and ferguson, crocker in the centres with a stacked back 3 (especially once milford comes through as a their long-term fullback). If I had it my way:
                Minichiello - Cummins
                Oldfield - Copely
                SKD - Wighton
                LOD - Walker

Salary cap wouldnt even be close to an issue but I think those 4 would give our side exactly what it needs. Then when SBW does eventually leave, imo we already have Langi in the backrow that is virtually a direct replacement - ball playing backrower with great footwork and power (although I think he will find himself in first grade well before then). The club should delay Langi's entry into first grade until origin (considering the way we are going atm, there is no need to force him up) where he will go into the halves with maloney and then probably stay in first grade for the rest of the season off the bench. To think we got this guy for the perretts. Considering our frontrow depth and quality of outside backs, that has to be some of the best recruitment work to date if it pans out. I also think that being a 5/8 and ball playing style backrower that Langi is the only thing that has made the symonds release somewhat palatable for me in that I dont think there was room for them both in our current backrow and Langi certainly appears the better prospect
Langi is most likely a lock, I don't think he has the silky skills and vision to be an effective NRL 5/8, as for young wighton, he is a gun but will not leave the Raiders in a hurry, and same with Dylan Walker, he is most probably the best out of the NSW origin bunch and is top of South's junior list and apparently, Maguire absolutely loves this kid and will grade him this season.
