  • Tonights Test

We only had JWH and SKD in the game,, both went ok, but JWH gave away a couple of silly penalties, at crucial stages of the game, that put his side under pressure, and SKD had a reasonable game, made a couple of breaks, but seems to have lost the confidence to back himself, he was away and in space, and slowed right down or basically stopped, looking for a support, which definitely shows a lack of confidence in himself.

    Tackle breaks.. Not line-breaks.

Good to see the JWH vs Gallen dislike for each other continue.

I thought that he played better than Whare.

SKD's weakness in attack is that he doesn't run a direct line and straight. He is a big guy and fast as well. He should always be running onto the ball and looking to get on the outside of his man or run into a gap.He does run sideways far too many times and he can rarely make linebreaks by doing that.

In defence, he doesn't use his frame as much as he should. He tackles too high on players and gets caught in no man's land when he rushes up in defence.

JWH had a weak game. This is what I hate about Farken rep games. I hope that this doesn't affect his club form because he has been killing it.

seemed like jared went back to his old self tonight as he was very undisciplined... i thought shaun had a decent game, threw some descent offloads in the first half... hope the boys can bounce back on thursday as they haven't suffered as a bad a defeat this season.

A strange misconception on this forum seems to be that JWH has improved his discipline... maybe it's easier to forgive and forget when we're winning games.

Penalties aside Hargreaves was poor tonight, ridiculous to think some on here thought he was above the likes of Bromwich & Mautlino.

He's come on big time since last year but still got a long way to go if he wants to earn a World Cup spot for the kiwis... hopefully some good motivation for him.

I thought skidsy had a good game. Better than any game he has played fot the Roosters this year.

What the hell is SKD doing there at the top? He is a bloody outside back. at the end of the day, someone has got to give them away. As long as its not too many and we recover, Im not bothered

what is the correlation to tackles made....the more work up in the middle and tackles yoou make, the more likely you are to give away a penalty. SKD has no excuse.

His acceleration is absolutely woeful though. He looks like a lumbering forward.

Stats being looked at objectively...... You're on money pimp. Conversely, the amount of defence friend gets through to only give away three penalties isn't a bad effort I think.
