They have a habit of picking blokes early.
Inu only had 3 FG games I think and got the call up and who could forget Osen Filipano! Straight out of reggies and into a test team

fingers crossed they make it through the weekend, will be tough for Maloney/Cordner/Jennings backing up on Anzac days 4 days after city vs country.

I think they should let players mature and develop first get comfortable and gain experience, its like picking an under 20's prop straight into FG to play a GF.
If they get steam rolled or he has a shocker it can set him back, like Wallace and Mullen after they played soo. How the hell did they pick skd?

Don't know how Daniel Tupou didn't get picked for Tonga tbh. And where are their halves?? Langi will definitely get a start at 6 by the looks of that squad. Anyone know if the Under 20s origin teams have been announced?

So does this selection make him ineligible for SOO selection, although he is no chance of playing SOO this year. I think I heard that there is a 2 or 3 year period that needs to pass between playing for your country of origin & being eligible for SOO selection, anyone know if this is still the case?

RTS has been picked as 18th man, they want to get him in & amongst the camp to get accustomed to the scene & the other rep players due to the World Cup being held at the end of the year, when he will most likely be selected on the wing over Perrett if they have any clue at all! I think it will be great for him, for his confidence & just the experience of being around the top players.
