  • Another reason the loss to Canberra hurts

Because we would have leapfrogged the Vermin into third place!

If GI joe gets injured then souffs are well and truly farked. Last year was a rare season where he played consistently well for the whole season without injury of form troubles. Post origin this year may be had for him.

I agree it's this afternoon that the Canberra loss continues to hurt.
Lets hope we aren't talking about it in four months.

Patience guys, the canberra loss was a great leveller, the boys needed that, it will be a marker when ever they get too much ahead of themselves.

we will leapfrog them don't worry about that.

I think they believed their own hype and that Canberra being a weak side, all they had to do was turn up for the points. I hope TR shows them the video of that 2nd half to them before every game.

Yes it was a bad loss especially considering we had such a good lead. Take nothing away from Canberra though, they aren't a bad side particularly at home.

The most pleasing aspect for mine was the Roosters responded with an emphatic win. Admittedly the Bulldogs aren't going that well and have/had some injuries but regardless, 38 - 0 against last years runners up is still a good effort.

An interesting 5 games coming up. Penrith is one I would pencil in but Dragons, Manly, NQ and Storm, I'll be happy with two, preferably three wins out of that lot.
