I would like to think that Anasta at lock will be more dangerous than Fitzy the last couple of years.

Only digging yourself deeper into a hole mate

If we had 3 attacking backrowers like Mason we would get 50 put on us every week.

I'll say it again you have nfi

Mind you I and others have known that for a long time

Yeh he's old and past it, but in his twilight years he in no way should have had to STILL shoulder the same workload that he did back in the day!

At any decent club he would have had some young guys coming through to take a load off his shoulders.Towards the end of the game i recall the Fox commentators saying that Fitz had made 41 tackles and his nearest team mate had made 26!!

Where the **** were the high priced imports and the guys 10 years younger when the shit needed to be shoveled??? Standing back waiting for the old man to do it as ****ing usual!! In his last ****ing game!! Disgusting!!

Like Tessmann got picked for Australia.

As with Ron Palmer, his time was up.

The worst thing about him going is that he is one of the last of the previous generation that cared about their club and not cash. But the new generation only care about cash and not their club.

Our management should have went through EVERY available avenue to keep this great clubman. He provides the club with more than what's shown on the field. He is terrific off-field as well and nowadays, that's very hard to find. I would paid any amount of money to keep him here. At least he was one of a very few who played with absolute heart each and every game.

This club will regret the decision to let him go. We should have re-signed Fitzy and left Carney alone. We've got Anasta at five-eighth, who IMO on his day, can match it with the best of them.
